HIPAA Compliance Checklist for 2025
Your team already uses Claude to draft policies, summarize reports, and redline contracts. Ask it which SaaS apps haven't been touched in 90 days, and it has nothing. That question still means a separate login, a dashboard, and a manual search.
As of today, that second tab is gone.
CloudEagle.ai's MCP connector is now live in Anthropic's Claude Connectors Directory. Customers can connect it inside Claude and ask questions about their SaaS, AI, and identity data the same way they ask Claude everything else, in plain language, without leaving the conversation.
Read more: We’re announcing it today.
1. Where Did Your SaaS and AI Answers Actually Live?
Before this, they lived in a separate tab. A dashboard login. A CSV export somebody pulled last quarter, and nobody trusts anymore. Every question about license usage, AI spend, or access risk meant stepping outside the tool you were already working in.
That's a strange place for the answers to live, given how much of the actual work now happens inside Claude. IT teams use it to write scripts. Security teams use it to draft policies. Finance teams use it to model budgets. The one thing missing was the data underneath all of it.
2. One Click Replaces the Old Setup
Connecting CloudEagle.ai to Claude used to mean adding a custom connector: paste in a server URL, generate an API token from the CloudEagle tenant, and authorize manually.
CloudEagle.ai now shows up directly in Claude's Connectors Directory. Find it, click Connect, and authorize access: no URL or token.
It's live because Anthropic reviewed it first. Every connector in the directory goes through a review for security, reliability, and compatibility before it's listed. CloudEagle.ai's approval means customers get one more trusted way to reach the platform, alongside the web app, the mobile app, and Slack.
3. What You Can Actually Ask
Once CloudEagle.ai is connected, the questions get specific fast:
- An IT leader can ask which applications haven't been used in 90 days and get a list back immediately, no export required.
- A security team can ask which SaaS vendors have MFA disabled, or which GenAI tools employees are actively using, and see the answer without pulling a report first.
- A procurement lead preparing for a renewal can ask what a specific application's usage looked like over the last quarter and get the number on the spot.
- A finance lead can ask how much was spent on a specific AI tool last month without waiting on IT to run a report.
None of this requires switching context. The question and the answer happen in the same window.
4. The Platform That Finds Unsanctioned MCP Servers Now Has One of Its Own, Sanctioned
A big part of what CloudEagle.ai does every day is find the AI tools, agents, and MCP servers nobody approved. Most platforms still treat SaaS management and AI governance as separate problems, if they touch AI governance at all.
CloudEagle.ai discovers AI apps, agents, and MCP servers alongside traditional SaaS, correlating usage with spend and access in a single view instead of scattering it across reports nobody reads end to end.
How CloudEagle.ai solves it:
- Correlates browser plugin, SSO, and network signals to build a real-time inventory of every AI app and MCP server employees are actually using
- Risk-scores what it finds, so security and IT know what to review first instead of treating every shadow tool as an equal fire drill
- Extends the same lifecycle governance applied to human identities to the service accounts, API keys, and AI agents behind those tools
The outcome is a defensible answer to a question most security teams can't currently answer with confidence: what AI is actually running in the environment, and who's accountable for it.
CloudEagle.ai's own MCP connector now sits on the other side of that same list. Reviewed by Anthropic. Verified. Listed in the official directory instead of pasted in by an employee who found it on their own.
"Enterprises are not going to stop bringing AI into how they research and buy software. The teams that show up inside that workflow are the ones that get considered. Being listed in Claude's Connectors Directory puts CloudEagle.ai directly in that path," said Nidhi Jain, CEO of CloudEagle.ai. "This is where discovery is headed, and we intend to be there early."
5. One Less Login Between You and the Answer
This listing doesn't replace anything CloudEagle.ai already does. It adds a faster way to reach it. It sits alongside CloudEagle.ai's 500+ direct integrations across the enterprise stack, the same connective layer that already ties the platform to identity providers, finance systems, and security tools, now reachable from inside Claude too.
For customers already on Claude, the setup is done. Open the Connectors Directory, find CloudEagle.ai, and connect. The next question about SaaS spend, AI usage, or access risk doesn't need a new tab.
