HIPAA Compliance Checklist for 2025
When we won TiE50 in 2023, SaaS governance was a problem most enterprises hadn't fully named yet. IT teams were drowning in spreadsheets. Finance couldn't see what they were paying for. Security had no visibility into shadow AI or orphaned accounts. The problem was real, but the category was still forming.
Three years later, that problem has a name, a budget line, and a board-level conversation behind it. And CloudEagle.ai has been recognized as a TiE50 Top Technology-Enabled Startup for the third time, joining a program whose alumni include companies like FireEye, MuleSoft, and VeloCloud.
This one means something different.

TiE50 Has Predicted Billion-Dollar Companies for 17 Years. Here's What It Takes to Win It Repeatedly.
TiE50 is TiE Silicon Valley's flagship annual awards program, now in its seventeenth year. Each year, a panel of venture capitalists, angel investors, and senior operators screens thousands of startups from around the world and selects fewer than 50 based on three criteria: innovation, impact, and traction.
Over 85% of past TiE50 winners have gone on to raise more than $1 billion in funding collectively. Many have been acquired or gone public. The program has a track record of identifying companies before the rest of the market catches up.
Winning once is validation. Winning three times, across different years and different market conditions, reflects something more durable: consistent product progress, growing customer outcomes, and a category that keeps expanding.
"CloudEagle.ai is tractioning well on all fronts as an AI-powered SaaS management, procurement, and governance platform, enabling them to be one of the winners of the prestigious TiE50 awards at TiEcon 2026," said Kumar Sripadam, Program Chair, TiE50.
From Spreadsheets to $3 Billion in Customer Savings
In 2023, we were a small team solving a problem that most enterprises were managing with spreadsheets and gut instinct. SaaS sprawl was growing. AI tools were starting to show up in expense reports. Identity governance was still a manual, quarterly exercise for most IT teams.
We built CloudEagle.ai to give IT, Security, Finance, and Procurement teams a single place to see and control everything in their SaaS and AI stack. The platform connects to 500+ applications, pulls data from SSO, HRIS, finance, and security tools, and turns that data into actions: license reclamation, access reviews, renewal workflows, and AI governance controls. It is powered by the SaaSMap Context Graph, a compounding context layer that grows more precise with every integration and gives AI agents the reliable, real-time data they need to operate across the enterprise.
The 2026 TiE50 win reflects that progress, and the customer trust that made it possible.
AI Made the SaaS Governance Problem Bigger. We Built for That.
Between 2023 and today, the SaaS and AI governance problem has become significantly more complex.
AI tools proliferated faster than any prior wave of SaaS adoption. Employees started using ChatGPT, Copilot, and Gemini before procurement teams had policies in place. API tokens and non-human identities multiplied across tech stacks. Usage-based billing created spend exposure that traditional contract tracking couldn't capture.
At the same time, regulators and boards started asking direct questions about AI oversight: who is using which tools, what data is being shared, and how access is being governed. The expectation shifted from innovation to control.
CloudEagle.ai extended its platform into this new reality. AI discovery, usage tracking, risk scoring, and AI governance controls are now core to what we deliver, alongside the SaaS spend management and identity governance capabilities that earned us the first two wins.
A Category That Earned Its Place on the Board Agenda
Three wins across three different market moments tells a clearer story than one: the problem kept growing, and the platform kept up. SaaS and AI governance is now one of the most urgent priorities on the CIO and CISO agenda, and enterprises are running CloudEagle.ai in production at scale to meet it.
"When we won TiE50 the first time, most enterprises hadn't yet named the problem we were solving. Three wins later, SaaS and AI governance are one of the most urgent priorities on the CIO and CISO agenda, and our customers are running CloudEagle.ai in production at scale. This recognition belongs to the team that ships hard things every week and to the customers who trusted us early," said Nidhi Jain, CEO of CloudEagle.ai.
The Gap Is Widening. That's Exactly Where We Operate.
Four years in, the category we helped define is still early in its maturity. Most enterprises are still managing SaaS renewals in spreadsheets, running access reviews once a quarter, and discovering shadow AI after the fact.
The companies that govern their SaaS and AI stack well will move faster, spend less, and carry less risk than the ones that don't. That gap is widening, and it is exactly where CloudEagle.ai operates.
We are proud of this recognition. And we are focused on what comes next.
