Our IT team faced growing challenges as more and more SaaS access requests came in with our expanding workforce. Manual, outdated processes caused frequent delays in onboarding, frustrating employees, and slowing productivity.
To work around these delays, employees started using unapproved apps, increasing shadow IT risks. These unregulated applications brought security vulnerabilities and compliance issues, exposing sensitive data and complicating IT’s job with unmanaged devices and data flows.
At the same time, IT and security teams were overwhelmed with repetitive, manual provisioning and deprovisioning tasks. This increased the chance of errors like granting wrong access or failing to revoke it on time, putting the entire SaaS environment at risk.
Adding to these challenges, poor visibility into who had access to which SaaS apps made it hard to control license usage, manage costs, and meet compliance requirements. Without a centralized, real-time view, staying audit-ready became complex and time-consuming.
